
Grover E. Breen, age 86, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 29, 2026, and is home with his Lord and Savior. He is now reunited with his beloved wife of 65 years, Sue Breen, who preceded him in death in 2023. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love for his family was evident in everything he did. Blessed with a wonderful sense of humor, he brought laughter and joy to those around him and was known for his quick wit. He retired from Keeler Brass after 40 years of faithful service, a reflection of the strong work ethic, dedication, and reliability that defined his life. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Tammy (Fred) Parsons, Terri (Doug) Davis, Tonya Courteau, Todd Breen, Tricia House; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jonathon) Allen, Jason (Jen) Stocking, Rachelle (Jesse) Villegas, Jamie Davis, Quinton (Alexandra) Courteau, Brittany Courteau, Lawton Courteau, Peyton Courteau, Terrell Breen, Taleah Breen, Devin (Summer) Little, Shayla Breen; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Charlene (Dennis) Heim, Pamela (Keith) Schultz; sisters-in-law, Leah Salters, Judy (Nathan) Rose; and many extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Greater Life Pentecostal Church, 1667 Wilson Ave. SW, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Dennis Kleiman officiating. The burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 5, from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday from 12-12:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
