Gregg Stephenson

Gregg P. Stephenson, age 68, of Gowen, formerly of South Carolina, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Gregg was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa. He proudly served his country in the US Airforce for 13 years. Gregg worked for many years as a mechanic for Smith Turf and Irrigation in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over the years, he enjoyed riding the open road on his custom Harley which he took great pride in. Above all, his love for Jesus and his church family was evident to all who knew him. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda Stephenson; children, Brian Scott Stephenson and Vicky Spurlock of South Carolina, Amy Michelle Coffield of South Carolina, Ashley Marie Stephenson of South Carolina; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many dear friends. 

Memorial services will be held 11 am Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Rockford Springs Community Church, 5815 14 Mile Rd. NE, Rockford, with Pastor Kyle Sanford officiating.  Burial will be held at Courtland Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at church.   Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Rockford Springs Community Church.
