Gordon Wayne Vander Vliet

Vander Vliet, Gordon W Gordon Wayne Vander Vliet, age 50, of Grandville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 and went to be with the Lord. He was an owner of Wine and Canvas and project engineer at Autodie.  As well as being an avid sportsman, Gordon also loved to sing.  He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Vander Vliet.  He will be greatly missed by his wife, Cheryl; his children, Ryan, David, Lynnae; stepchildren, William Kusters, Emily and Shayne Burpo, Connor Kusters; step grandchild, Korbin Burpo; mother, Lorraine Vander Vliet; brother, Mark and Karen Vander Vliet; niece, Alexandra; mother of his children, Shelley Vander Vliet.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor William Renkema officiating.  Interment Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Lynnae’s College Fund at Chase Bank.
