Gordon Timmer

On Wednesday, June 17, 2015, a little before 6:00 AM, Gordon B. Timmer, age 87 of Allendale, breathed his last labored breath on this earth and took a full deep breath in heaven, where he was reunited with his parents, Ralph and Mabel Timmer; sons, David and Brian Timmer; and granddaughter, Sydney Timmer. Gord was a loving and faithful husband, dad, and grandpa that lived his life by example. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Norma Timmer; children, Michael and Donna Timmer, Linda and Don Pyle, Lee Garcia and friend, Walt Leary, Christopher and Sandi Timmer; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother, Harold and Pat Timmer; several nieces, nephews, cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 Noon at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale with Pastor Mark Green officiating. Interment will be held at Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family during a memorial visitation on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, prior to the service, at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Allendale Baptist Church Building Fund.
