
On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Gloria VanderLaan completed her earthly journey and is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “My times are in your hands..” Psalm 31:15. Gloria graduated from Mercy Central School of Nursing and worked many years as a Registered Nurse, retiring at age 72 from Holland Home’s Home Care. She is survived by her wonderful husband of 51 years, Fred J. VanderLaan; their son, Fred J. VanderLaan II and his wife, Mollie; two beautiful grandchildren, Elle (Elizabeth) and Reese. Also surviving are her brother, Lewis (Lois) Glashower, sisters, Beverly (Larry) Croff, Victoria Moore; sister-in-law, Veronica Jarmosco; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lewis and Alice Glashower; sisters and brothers-in-law, Noreen and Robert Gould, Alice and Phil Spanninga; infant granddaughter, Haley; nieces, Rebecca Croff and Cindy Valentine; nephew, Ron Spanninga; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donna Glashower, Donald and Marge VanderLaan, Patricia and Joseph Kammers, Len Jarmosco. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord” Revelation 14:13.
