Gloria   Bessey-Phillips

Bessey-Phillips, Gloria Gloria L. Bessey-Phillips, age 86, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 8, 2014.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roger F. Bessey, Russell Phillips; son, Douglas Bessey; daughter, Cathleen Bessey.  She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Jerry and Darlene Bessey, Jay and Mary Jane Bessey, Ronald and Lisa Bessey, Roger Jr. and Kim Bessey; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held Thursday, June 19 at 7 pm at Roosevelt Park Community Christian Reformed Church, 811 Chicago Dr. SW, Wyoming with Dr. Reggie Smith officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, June 19 from 6-7 pm prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Roosevelt Park Community Christian Reformed Church or the Clark Foundation Benevolent Fund.
