Glenn O. Brower, Sr.

Glenn O. Brower Sr., age 85, of Grandville, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was the former owner of R&G Construction for many years until he retired. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis; stepson, Michael and 4 brothers. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ruth; children, Cyndye Brower, Glenda and Jerry Stolieckas, Kristi Schell (Floyd Rickert), Glenn Brower Jr. (Melvin Smothers); step children, Kristin and Larry Johnson, Steven Browder, Loren and Dean Wagner;  grandchildren and great grandchildren, Philip Brower (Joel, Gabriel, and Jaden), Dean Stolieckas (Lillian, Taylor), Holly and Robert Vincent (Gavin, and Morgan), Angela Stolieckas (Noah, and Ben), Rebekah and Luke Gitchel (Benjamin, Caleb, Ethan, and Tyler), Brooke Schell (Ellian and Viviana), Kristin and Chris Nolan (Christopher, Dominic, and Elijah), Ashley Schell and Al Thomas, Tabitha Brower, Kyle Brower; many loving step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Justin Brower, Nort and Jane Brower, Keith and Karen Brower, Paul and Esther Brower, Bernard and Mary Brower,  Gloria and Ron Zylstra; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Thursday 1pm at Ivanrest Christian Reformed Church, 3777 Ivanrest SW, Grandville with Rev. Tony Meyer officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family for a viewing Wednesday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Ivanrest Christian Reformed Church Benevolent Fund.
