Glenn E. Singhurst

Glenn E. Singhurst, age 93, of Wyoming, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020.  He was born in St. Paul, Kansas to William and Mary Singhurst.  He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  He was a tool and die maker at General Motors for many years.  Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, June; siblings: Louis Singhurst, Wayne Singhurst, Wilma (Walt) Bowman, Leone (Bert) Amrine.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Jan Schmidt, Danielle Singhurst, Richard (Ellen) Singhurst, Sheila DoByns, Carolyn (John) Davied, Diane (Rick) Prideaux;  grandchildren: Derek (fiancée, Shannon) Schmidt, Gavin Schmidt, David (Vicki) Schmidt, Trevor Singhurst, Bryce Singhurst, Miranda Singhurst, Guy (Erica) Spieth, Dustin (Lauren) Spieth, Scott (Cassandra) Davied, Dr. Susan (Dan) Sears, Angie (James) Brumback, Tracy (Tindai) Mushonga; great grandchildren: Olivia and Parker Schmidt, Tyler, Kinslee and Karleena Schmidt, Griffin Schmidt, Jax Singhurst, Brenna, Ilia, and Tristan Spieth, James (Kirstyn) Spieth, Jessica Spieth, Zachery Davied, Riley, Josie, and Jack Sears, Josh, and Cierra Brumback, Samantha (fiancé, Brett), Tinasha, and Nathan Mushonga; great great grandchildren: Sophia Jameson, Brinkley and William Brumback; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Singhurst, Darlene Singhurst; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Pastor Richard Prideaux officiating. Burial held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, March 1 from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mercy Health St. Mary’s Lacks Center or Faith Hospice.
