Gladys Ruth Garner

Gladys Ruth Garner, age 93, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Nellie Dewey; 11 siblings; husband, Eugene Garner; son, Randy Garner; and many other family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert Garner; grandchildren, Amanda (Leo) Preston, David (Nova) Garner, Cody Garner, Jacob Garner; great grandchildren, Noah and Aidan Preston; niece, Dawn Szydlowski; and many loving family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 3rd at St. Jude Parish, 1120 4 Mile Road NE, Grand Rapids with Fr. Ayub Francis Nasar officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday, January 2, from 4-7 p.m. at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont and one hour prior to Mass on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
