Gertrude M. Roede

Gertrude M. Roede (Jurrians), age 101, formerly of Wyoming, MI went home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Roede; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Chris Albers, Marge Jurrians, Fran and John Schutt.  She was a longtime member of Godwin Heights Christian Reformed Church, where she served her Lord with her time and talents in many ways.  She will be remembered by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Martha Beute, Donald and Judy Roede; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, June 20 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr SW, with Pastor Rick Kiekintveld officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. A time of visitation will be Tuesday 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
