Gertrude   Hartman

Hartman, Gertrude Gertrude Joan (VanderHoff) Hartman, age 93, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 11, 2013.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hartman; brother, Frank VanderHoff; sisters, Jessamine Schuitema, Ella Jannereth, and Viola Veenendall.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Larry Hartman, Gaylene Luhman, Diane and Rick Karel; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Bouma; sister-in-law, Joanne VanderHoff Quakkelaar; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 15 at 7 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor John Zwyghuizen officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-7 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
