Gertrude Alice McClure

Gertrude A. McClure, age 95, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, one day before her birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Nettie Helder; husband, William; siblings, Jane Posthumus, Louis and Vonnie Helder, Harriet and Gerrit Theule. Gertrude will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael and Fely McClure, Kim and John Rudd; grandchildren, Stanley and Amanda Rudd, Vincent and April McClure, Aubrey and Brian Houston; great-grandchildren, Grace, Tristan, Alex, Adilene, Logan, Eli, and Leana; many nieces and nephews. Gertrude’s passion was God, family, and caring for animals. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 22, 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Chaplain Daniel Przybylski officiating. Burial Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, August 22, from 9:30-11 am at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Medical Team Hospice.
