Geraldine Hornburg

Geraldine Hornburg, age 88, of Belmont passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Hornburg; son, Ron Hornburg; her baby girl Hornburg; grandson, Brandon Kuiper; her parents, Cecil and Shirley Skipper; and her aunt and uncle, John and Loraine Parker. She will be lovingly remembered by her significant other, Larry Smith; her daughter, Jane Kuiper; grandson, Brian (Merari) Kuiper; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Frede, Joanne Robertson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, May 16 at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Burial Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday an hour prior to the service from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
