Gerald R. Pratt

Gerald “Jerry” R. Pratt, age 86, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 1 , 2018.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Sandy, on April 23, 2018; mother, Betty Scanlon; sister, Carolyn Brophy.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Michael (Melissa) Pratt, Kenneth (Karel) Pratt, Kimberly (Ron) Thomas, Jeff (Shelley) Pratt; grandchildren, Beth (Jason), Tanner, Rachel (Rob), Kristen, Nate (Amelia), Alex, Colin, Mitchell; 7 great grandchildren.  Jerry proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Woodward Baptist Church, 2160 76th Street, Byron Center, with Rev. Lance Laker officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Wyoming) 4031 Clyde Park SW.
