Gerald Lee Hudson

Gerald Lee Hudson, age 87, of Wyoming, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Jerry was an avid bowler and loved to watch NASCAR races. He also liked to go fishing, especially with his wife and children. He loved being with his family to spoil the grandchildren. He took care of his family very well and could give “bear hugs” to everyone. Jerry was never short of words and could engage in conversation on any topic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Nola Hudson; his wife of 57 years, Alice Arlene Hudson; brothers, Leon, Terry, Don, Jack, and Dick; sister, JoAnne. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jack (Debra), Randy, Gerald (Sheri), Brian, Alice; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, at 1:00 pm at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or American Cancer Society.
