George Huffman

George Huffman, age 92, passed away peacefully and is now with his Heavenly Father on Friday, January 2, 2026. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Beth and Jeff Mulder; grandchildren, Daniel and Becky Schell, Lindsey and Justin Starks, Jason and Madeline Schell, Matt Mulder and Nadia Peters, Bowie Mulder; great-grandchildren, Lana, Alayna, Kyler, Clara, Adelyn, Ryan, Charlotte, Ruby, Mason, Aubrey, Georgia, Finn, and Kora; and several nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Margie; son, Brian Huffman; and many siblings. He was devoted to his family, enjoyed spending time at the trailer, traveling with Margie, and attending many games as a lifelong University of Michigan fan. In his younger years he was a Golden Gloves boxer and a little league football coach. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 2-4 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
