Her legacy of faith and contentment in life was evident to all who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Cleo Huizenga; and her great-grandsons, Aidan Flipse and Iver Koop. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children, Elayne and Arlan Matthysse, Mary and David Weeber, Bob and Anita Huizenga, Rick and Deb Huizenga; her grandchildren, Mike and Lisa Matthysse, Lisa and Ryan Flipse, Ryan and Sue Matthysse, Mark and Amy Weeber, Nate and Anna Weeber, Rob and Amanda Huizenga, Annie and Craig Hoekzema, Kelli and Aaron Tinholt, Heidi and Jeff Van Huis, Betsy and Jonathan Koop, Eric and Christian Huizenga; 28 great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Tom Knol (Thelma - deceased). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 11 a.m. at North Street Christian Reformed Church, 20 E. Main Ave., Zeeland, with Rev. Shaun Furniss officiating.  Interment will be held at Zeeland Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
