Gary W. Allen

Gary W. Allen, age 70, of Hudsonville, MI passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Gary proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the US Marine Corps. After his time in the service, he drove trucks for 40 years. Gary loved the outdoors, especially going fishing and playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Katie Allen; and niece, Rochelle. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 13 years, Dee Allen; children, Michael VanHamlin, Cortney (Dan) Ryktarsyk; stepchildren; many grandchildren; siblings, Robert Allen, Jr., Dan Allen, Beverly Allen, Scott Allen; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Relatives and friends may meet the family an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wat Dhammasala Forest Monastery.
