Gary Norder

Gary Lee Norder, age 76, of Allendale, entered eternal life on August 31, 2025. Gary was a residential builder and over the years was involved with his church family as an elder, and a Youth and Cadet leader. He loved to go deer hunting with his children and friends and was also an avid bowler who reached his goal of a 300 game. Gary received gifts of life in the form of a heart in June of 2020 and a kidney in November 2023. 

Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda; children, Kris Retzlaff, Nate and Liza Norder; grandchildren, Shane and Brandon Retzlaff, Ellie Norder and fiancé Luke Mesman, and Bryce Norder; sister, Linda K. (Chris) Lentz; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda S. Norder, Rick and Vicki Sikkema, Dan and Michelle McAlary; and many extended family members and special friends. 

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Hudsonville Reformed Church, 3950 Highland Dr. Hudsonville. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday from 10-11:45 a.m. prior to the service at church. His final resting place will be at Blendon Township Cemetery.
