
Gary Davis Sr., age 87, of Wyoming, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, August 23, 2021. Gary was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and was a friend to many. Gary proudly served his country in the US Army and was in the 82nd Airborne. He retired from Walter-Hagan after 33 years of service and was a life-long member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Gary will be remembered for his fashion sense and holiday outfits, his fun personality, and his love of friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William James and Dora Davis; his son, Kip Davis, and brothers, Bill and Jack Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Anna “Dusty” Davis; his children: Tod and Ruth Davis, Gary Jr. and Sue Davis, Diane Gill, Sara Davis, and stepson, Mike and Fran Cordell; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may meet the family during a memorial visitation to celebrate Gary’s life on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 2-5 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Burial at Rosedale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of choice.
