Frederick Rogalske Sr.

Frederick Ernest Rogalske Sr., age 89, of Jenison, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Fred enjoyed camping, traveling, gardening, and walking the Mackinac Bridge. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary Jean Rogalske; parents, Ernest and Ruth Rogalske; daughter-in-law, Kristi (Kammeraad) Rogalske; sister, Ruth and Bill Bouwman; brother, Willis Rogalske; and brothers-in-laws, Jim Ritzema, Ray Ritzema. He is survived by his children, Fred (Barbara) Rogalske Jr., Jeff (Denise) Rogalske, Mark Rogalske, Brian Rogalske; 8 precious grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Milly Croly, Lois Ritzema, and Peggy Ritzema; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Lu Saenz officiating. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
