Franklin H. Lovejoy

Franklin H. Lovejoy, age 60, of Kentwood went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 23, 2025. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Frank later worked as a Railroad electrician for many years. He brought his love of trains home with him and kept several model trains. Frank loved his family more than anything in this world, especially his son who was his pride and joy. He loved to spend time with him and they both shared a love of bowling. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Lovejoy; and his mother-in-law, MaryAnne Parker. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 22 years, Rebecca Lovejoy; son, Parker Lovejoy; father, Frank Lovejoy; his bonus mom, Roz; sister, Andrea Bouma; siblings-in-law, Missy (Mike) Fouchey; father-in-law, Peter Parker; and several nieces. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home and on Tuesday from 10-11 am prior to the service.
