Frank J. Buchanan

Frank J. Buchanan, age 87, of Grandville, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ruth; son-in-law, Chuck Helder; sisters, Marie Huyge, Helen Williams; brother, Ray Buchanan. Frank was a loving dad and grandpa who cherished his family. He retired from General Motors Diesel Tech Plant after 33 years of faithful service. Frank proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Vicki Helder, and his son, David Buchanan; grandchildren, Kristin and Travis Meyering, Becky and Greg Kalush, Charlie and Lindsay Helder, Jason and Katie Buchanan, Sarah and David McCarthy; 16 great grandchildren. According to Frank’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
