Frank Bacon

Frank M. Bacon, aged 91 of Kentwood passed away very peacefully and went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. He was a veteran of WWII and proudly served in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Rose Bacon and son-in-law, Craig Zwiers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Patricia; children, Cynthia (John) Hubbard, Frank (Jennifer) Bacon, Saralyn (Perry) Feikema; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Marcia) Bacon; and nephews and a niece. Memorial Services for Frank will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 3334 Breton Road SE with Rev. Erin Fitzgerald officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo SE on Monday from 6-8 pm and Tuesday from 10-10:45 am at the church. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church or Gentiva Hospice.
