Frank A. Russo

Frank Russo, age 70, of Grandville, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 22, 2024.  He was born on September 21, 1953, to the late Peter and Jennie Russo. Frank worked at various jobs, including Steelcase, and he worked as a gunsmith. He also opened up his own pizzeria. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, playing poker, and cooking for family and friends. Most importantly, Frank truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie (Michael) Frias; two grandchildren, Micah and Calia Frias; two sisters, Marianne Padgett, Jerri (Tim) Craig; one aunt, Katie Buzzitta; three nieces; and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 30, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1253 52nd Street SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Tony Russo officiating. Burial will be held at Blain Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
