Francis “Bud” C.  DeKlyen

DeKlyen, Francis "Bud" C. Francis “Bud” C. DeKlyen, aged 91 of Pierson, formerly of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his son, Harold “Butch” DeKlyen. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joan DeKlyen; children, Norma (Ken) VanZytveld, Chuck (Joetta) DeKlyen, David (Carolyn) DeKlyen, Debra (Chris) Eastman; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Francis proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Resurrection Life Church, 3233 10 Mile Road NE, Rockford with Pastor Larry Young officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Renucci Hospitality House.
