Floyd M. Korf, age 91, of Kentwood went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 65 years, Jackie. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Nancy and John Kuieck, Douglas and Suellen Korf; grandchildren, Bryan and Sue Kuieck, Lisa and Attila Simo, Shelley and Shane Nattee, Amy Korf; and 17 great grandchildren. Floyd served in the Navy Seabees during WWII, and was co-owner of the Thrift Products Candy and Nut Company. After retiring he loved working in his woodshop making children’s toy boxes. Floyd loved the Lord, his wife, family, and country; always conducting life and business in a Christian way. He was a long-time member of Unity Reformed Church. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with Pastor Mark Bergsma officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 pm, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Those who wish, may make memorial contributions to Unity Reformed Church, in lieu of flowers.
