A service to celebrate Floyd’s life will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at Spring Valley Church, 5947 Lake Michigan Dr., Allendale, MI 49401, with Chaplain Paul Burmeister officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family during a light dinner on Monday, January 3, from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a long-lasting gift be made to the building fund for Anchorage re:MADE, Cape Coral re:MADE, or Life West Church. The family wishes to express a special thanks to God, Dr. Jason Slaikeu, Dr. Robert Cuff, and the Vascular Team at Spectrum Health for an extra nine years of life, and to Anchorage Hospice for support as Floyd transitioned to heaven.
