Florence Mae (VanMalsen) Schneider

Florence Mae (VanMalsen) Schneider, age 92, of Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Gladys (Snyder) VanMalsen; siblings, Betty Reed, Robert VanMalsen, Jack VanMalsen, Mary Ellen Kort.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 76 years, Peter H. Schneider; children, Peter L. Schneider, Patricia (William) Brandt, Sandra Schneider Bouwman, Roxanne (David) Ensing; grandchildren, William S. (Heidi) Brandt, Mary Bouwman, Debra (Charles) Bateman, Mark (Maria) Brandt, David (Meghan) Ensing, Jr., Nathaniel (Elizabeth) Ensing, Catherine Ensing, Emily Ensing; 19 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; sister, Joanne VanMalsen; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Monday 2:30 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home and also from 1:30-2:15 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice-Trillium Woods or Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
