Evonne K. Kruis

Evonne K. Kruis, age 79, of Wyoming, passed peacefully from her earthly life to her heavenly one on Friday, April 6, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Dorothy Kruis, and her brother, Jerry Kruis. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Barbara Plank; brother, Jack Kruis; sister-in-law, Diane Solomon; several nieces and nephews and many longtime friends. Evonne retired from Alticor and was a lifelong resident in the Grand Rapids area. A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Mike Baynai officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, April 21, from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Kindred Hospice or Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Kindred Hospice and Vista Springs for the love and compassionate care for Evonne.
