
Eva “Chris” Christine Van Linden, age 88, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Chris was full of life and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her many special care givers at Aurora Pond. She was such a positive impact on everyone she met. Chris enjoyed staying active with her social life, spending time at Sandy Pines, shopping, family get togethers, casinos, and various community events. She was also an active member at St. John Vianney Church and expressed her faith throughout her daily life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jack Van Linden; son, Chuck Van Linden; son-in-law, Jim Murchie; and brother, Dan Costello. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Donna Murchie, Becky and Tom Crysler, Rhonda and Mike Winters; grandchildren, Amy and Brad Hopkins, Sarah and Brandon Spanjer, Brent Ireland and Jackie Victor, Robert Ireland; great-granddaughters, Aurora Ireland and Breanne Spanjer; sister, Dorothy and Bob Schaefer; brothers, John H. and Polly Costello, Carmen and Sybil Costello; sister-in-law, Sandra Costello; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am on Monday, July 22 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Father John Vallier presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday morning one hour prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John Vianney Church.
