Eunice Gertrude Milliman

Eunice Gertrude Milliman, age 97, of Grand Rapids, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Nancy Marutz and several cousins.  She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Bob Marutz; her niece, Pam and Scott Doublestein; nephew, Lynn Marutz and one cousin.  Eunice was Valedictorian of her graduating class at Caledonia High School.  She then went on to graduate from Michigan State University.  She was an active woman who continued to work in the veterinary industry until she was 85 years of age.  Eunice was an active, dedicated, involved parishioner of Peace Lutheran Church in Otsego.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and baking for family.  She also enjoyed shopping with her niece, Pam.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 14 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8436 Kraft Ave. SE, Caledonia, with Rev. Timothy Brand officiating.  Interment Holy Corners Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5 - 8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St. SE, Caledonia and on Saturday one hour prior to the service at church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Health Ministry Team.
