Ethan DeHoek

Ethan DeHoek, age 3, gained his angel wings on July 15, 2016. He was very loved and always had a smile on his face. He was the light of our lives and will always have a very special place in our hearts. He is survived by his parents, Brian and Lindsey DeHoek; brother, Parker; grandparents, Brian and Robin Bergmans, Dan and Marie DeHoek, Karen DeHoek; great-grandparents, Helene DeHoek, Louis and Shirley Bellgraph; uncles and aunts, Brian and Megan Bergmans, Ashley Hauk, Matt and Kaeta DeHoek, Jon DeHoek and fiancée Maggie Stusick, Brian and Lauren Guttersen; and cousins, Noah Hauk, Jaxon Bergmans, Loralei DeHoek, Griffin Guttersen, and Hudson Copple. Funeral services for Ethan will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Ada Bible Church, 8899 Cascade Road, with Pastor Bob King officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, and also on Wednesday at the church from 10-11 am prior to the service. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Helen DeVos Intestinal Failure Program in Ethan’s name.
