Esther Mae Glashower

Esther Mae Glashower (Vander Schuur), aged 60 of Hudsonville, left her earthly home for her eternal home on Saturday, April 7, 2018, and is now dancing with Jesus. Esther was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, who treasured her family. She was a selfless person who always put others first. Esther gave of her time and talents with a passion for the lost and broken, being the hands and feet of Jesus to whomever she met. She had the gift of encouragement and always took a genuine interest in others. Esther enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking in the beauty of all that her Lord created. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Margaret Vander Schuur, and her brother, Jay Vander Schuur. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 41 years, Doug; her children, Katie and Brian White, Kyle and Heather Glashower, Kindra and Aaron Back, Kelson and Jacinta Glashower; also a mother to Maria, Liliana, and Neftali; her beloved  grandchildren, Mason, Kayla, and Alec White; Emma Glashower; Titus, and Ahsher Back; also a grandma to Katie, Jayden, Yarianna, and Luna; her siblings, Dave and Jennifer Vander Schuur, Sue and Kelly Bauder, Brenda Vander Schuur; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Randy and Cindy Glashower, Judy and Dale DeVries, Jeff and Sue Glashower, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 5 pm at Georgetown Christian Reformed Church, 6475 40th Ave., Hudsonville with Rev. Jack Dik officiating. Interment Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may join the family at Georgetown Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday from 6-8 pm and Wednesday 2-4 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Resonate Global Mission in Guinea, West Africa to support her sister Brenda Vander Schuur.
