Esther Louise Penninga

Esther Louise Penninga, age 93, of Jenison, was lovingly and tenderly called home to her Lord and Savior, on Monday, January 3, 2022. Esther will be remembered for her passion and dedication of serving and helping others in any way she could. For many years she volunteered at Bibles for Missions Thrift Store and was able to go on several mission trips. She loved her family and cherished spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Kate Ondersma; husband, Henry; as well as her nine siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Daniel and Linda Penninga, Sandra and Patrick Mastenbrook, Mary and David Kleinjans, and foster son, Paul Hayden; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ondersma; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Baldwin St. Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin St., Jenison with Pastor Don Van Slyke and nephew, Pastor David Prince officiating. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service at church from 9:00-11 AM.
