Esther I. (Bolthouse) Esther, age 87, of Allendale, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, February 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ralph Esther.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Don and Cathy Esther, Betty and Steve Cook, Dave and Mary Esther, Linda and David Kolenbrander; 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Roy and June Bolthouse, Bernard and Sue Bolthouse, Ruth Hoffer; sister-in-law, Joyce Bolthouse; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale with Rev. Garry Koon officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and also on Wednesday from 10-10:50 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
