Ernest Gee

Ernest Gee, age 86, of Wyoming, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior, Jesus, on Saturday, October 3, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Richard, Ellsworth, Thomas Edward (Patricia), John, Charles (Barbara), and William Gee, Thelma (Elmer) Johnson. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Frances Gee; daughter, Constance (Matthew) Tsuchiya-Gee; sisters and brothers; Gloria Bartaway, Gertrude, Kate (Tom) Hole, Everett and Donald (Angel) Gee; brother-in-law, Ronald (Lorraine) Novitsky, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Ernie was a loving, caring, husband and father. He was a hard-working man who repaired machines at Wolverine Brass and Bentler Automotive Industries. Ernie was a bingo caller at Crestview Nursing Home and managed to inherit many wheelchairs, walkers, and canes which he gave to those in need. Ernie valiantly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.  Ernie was an outgoing, loving, social person who could make friends in a matter of minutes. He was a devoted and active member of St. John Vianney parish. Services will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming on Thursday, October 8 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation on behalf of the Ernest Gee Family and Friends.
