Engelus Jansen

Engelus Jansen age 94 went to be with his Lord on Monday, February 20, 2017. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor and brothers, William, George and Anthony. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Craig and Julie Jansen of PA, Randall Jansen of Grand Rapids, Donald and Deb Jansen of GA, Richard Jansen of Grand Rapids; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; his brother and sisters-in-law, Charles and Audrey Jansen, Anne Jansen of Grand Rapids; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Karl and Edwina Berenbrock of CA; and his stepchildren, Carol and Ed Bos, Jack and Deb Yonkers, Mary Jo and Tom Chicklon.   Engelus was a WWII Navy Pilot. After the service he was engaged in sales with Butternut and Schafer Bakeries. He was a member of LaGrave Christian Reformed Church. Funeral Services with Military Honors for Engelus will be held Thursday, February 23, at 11:00 am at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Chapel, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave., Kentwood, Michigan. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 22 from 2-4 pm.
