Emily Suzanne Benedict

Emily Suzanne Benedict, age 46, of Wyoming, joined her mother in heaven on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.  She loved spending time with her family and loved her children.   She was understanding and kind and present with people who needed her and enjoyed helping care for her great nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed having fun and socializing with her friends.  Emily had an amazing sense of humor and could brighten anyone’s day.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children:  Miana Benedict, Skylar Benedict, Olivia Madura; father, Herb Benedict; fiancé, Ray Madura, and his children: Angel, Sheila, and Gloria; siblings: Marie (Tom) Groters, Lisa Martinez, Jennifer (Tracy) Fields, Melissa McGinley, Joe Benedict; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Kay Benedict.  In celebration of Emily’s life, a gathering will be held Saturday, February 1, from 1 to 4 pm, 1320 Burton Street SW, Wyoming, MI , where family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Gift of Life.
