Emerson Lee Myers

Emerson Lee Myers, age 82 of Wyoming, went to his heavenly home on Monday, November 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Beverly (Bronkema), daughter, Debora Klasko, brother, Troy Myers. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Shirley; children, Rick (Dodee) Myers, Scot (Kathy) Myers, Cheryl (Thomas) Britten, Rayna (Alan) Jones, Wendy Zandstra; son-in-law, Thomas Klasko; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Renée Day. Emerson served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. A memorial service will be held 11am Monday, November 9, 2015 at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St SW, Wyoming. Interment Grandville Cemetery. The family will meet relatives and friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
