Elvira Paiz

Elvira Paiz, our precious mother, age 86, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcelino. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Maria (Jesse) Davila, Elvira (Tomas) Lares, Christina (Emiliano) De Leon, Luz Kapteyn (fiance, Dan Van Dyke), and Andrea (Floyd) Timmer; 12 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law,  Dolores (Jesse) Gutierrez, Tony (Melinda) Paiz; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Resurrection Life Church, 5100 Ivanrest Avenue SW, Grandville, with Pastor Josh Vander Klok officiating. Interment Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Foundation/Spectrum Health Hospice.
