Elvin John Hofstra

Elvin John Hofstra, age 99, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 16, 2022. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 29 years, Jeanne, and grandson, Jeff Barry. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Bertha; children: Ron and Judi Hofstra, Ruthe and Garry Mulder, Kathy and Dick Myers, Tom and Eddi Hofstra, Sheri and Ross Leisman, Phyllis and Jeff Looy, Mike and Mary Zuiderveen, Steve and Brenda Zuiderveen, Linda and Scott Vredevoogd; 66 grandchildren; 88 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren. Elvin served in the US Army during World War II. He was a faithful servant at Lee St. CRC, serving as deacon, elder, and missions support committee member for many years. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Lee St. Christian Reformed Church, 1261 Lee St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Steve DeVries officiating.
