Elsie Heyboer

Elsie Joanne Heyboer, age 85, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Mary Heyboer; son-in-law, Duncan Gray; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Jeanette Aukeman, Art Aukeman, Nelson Aukeman, John and Donna Aukeman, Ralph Hutt, Betty Aukeman; and sister, Hilda Aukeman. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Karri and Martin Whip, and Judith Gray; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Mark Aukeman, Grace Hutt; sisters-in-law, Noreen Aukeman, Bonnie Aukeman; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Westend Christian Reformed Church, 1015 Westend Ave NW with Pastor Brian Myers officiating. Burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, June 22 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
