Elizabeth “Betty” Hekman

Elizabeth “Betty” Hekman, age 93, of Jenison, was called home on Monday, March 23, 2015 and is now resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold in 1986 and her infant daughter, Shannon Noreen. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Steve and Jan Hekman, Valerie Bonnier; grandchildren, Ryan and Jenna Hekman, Shannon and Doug Busscher, Nicole and Michael Brossman, Troy and Jen Bonnier; great grandchildren, Zach, Alex, Grant, Abby, Anna, Korrine, Joelle, Nico, Michaela, Jessie, Tyler, Grant, Chandler, Adrianna, Ainsley; sister, Henrietta Butcher; sister-in-law, Elaine Hekman; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday 12:00 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Rev. James Evenhouse officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 10:30 am to 12 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
