Eleanore Bol

Eleanore (Meulenberg) Bol, age 98, began a glorious day of rejoicing as she entered heaven to meet her Redeemer face to face on Thursday, October 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gerrit; son, David; infant son, Stephen; son-in-law, Mark Hoeksema; brothers and sisters-in-law; David (Helene) Meulenberg, Ronald (Sylvia) Meulenberg, H. Pete (Shirley) Meulenberg, Daniel Meulenberg; sister, Mary Jane Bos Devries; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stover (Jeanette, Wilhemina) Bol, Bertha (Nick) Boss, Jack (Amy) Bol, Peter (Donna) Bol, Hattie (Harold) Buter, and Henry (Dorothy) Bol; and brothers-in-law, John Bos, Gerald DeVries. She is survived by her children, Ruthellen Hoeksema, Priscilla (John Patrick) MacGraw, and Jonathan (Barbara) Bol; daughter-in-law Barbara (Fred) Winkle; grandchildren, Kristin (Steve) Siebers, Matthew (Julie) Bol, Kara (Mike) Abramowski, Stephen (Deb) Hoeksema, Michael (Marcia) Hoeksema, Sarah (Jerry) Bleyenberg, Phillip Hoeksema (fiancée, Michelle Brown), Molly (Aaron) Cleveland, Dan (Becky) MacGraw, Megan MacGraw, Nathaniel (Rebecca) Bol, Audra (Kyle) Bruinooge, and Adam (Grace) Bol; 38 great-grandchildren; sister, Judith (Jack) Feenstra; sister-in-law, Marcia Meulenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Hudsonville Protestant Reformed Church, 5101 Beechtree Ave, Hudsonville, with Rev. Clayton Spronk officiating. There will be a time of fellowship with the family after the service. The burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hudsonville Protestant Reformed Church for the Reformed Book Outlet in Hudsonville, Michigan, where she was a volunteer for many years.
