Elden “Al” Troyer

Elden “Al” Ray Troyer, age 90, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nina; his wife of 55 years, Burdena “Bernie”; great-grandson, Connor Andrew; two brothers; two sisters; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Al will be lovingly remembered by his children, Sandy and Gene DeWitt, Kathy and Robb Alberda, Beth and Bill Henderson, Mark and Dawn Troyer, Todd Troyer; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. Al enjoyed golf, traveling, and fishing. He had an infectious sense of humor, could banter with anyone, and considered it a privilege to pray over others. He will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Grandville Bible Church, 4122 44th St. SW, with Pastor Rich McCarrell officiating. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Missions Fund of Grandville Bible Church.
