Elberta Mulder

Elberta Audrey (Booy) Mulder, age 92, of Jenison, Michigan, was delivered to her heavenly home on Monday, August 12, 2024. She loved her family, her church, and serving others. Elberta enjoyed quilting, working puzzles, and watching tennis. She volunteered for many years at Jenison Christian School working in the library. Elberta was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Mulder (1983); and her daughter-in-law, Jordana Mulder (2019). She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be remembered by her children, Kevin and Chris Mulder, Mary Jo and Tom Kunz, Mark and Laurie Mulder, Joel and Kerri Mulder; grandchildren, Katie (Mark) Buteyn, Tricia (Cody) Browneye, Matthew (Kristen) Mulder, Michael (Kelli) Mulder, Meghan Kunz, Rebecca Kunz, Bradley Kunz, Ashley Mulder, Nicholas Mulder, Kylie (Casey) Korenstra, Collin (Madeline) Mulder, Dana (Caleb) Dykstra, Brooke (Zachary) Lubbers, Ty (Haley) Mulder, Trent Mulder; special step granddaughters, Addison DeGram, Ella DeGram, Lydia DeGram; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Marge Rybka, Gary and Ruthe Mulder; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, at 11 a.m. at Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Rev. Don Van Slyke officiating. Interment will be held at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 19, from 4-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jenison Christian School or The Potter’s House Christian School.
