Elaine Pylman

Elaine R. Pylman (Wiersma), age 95, of Grandville. Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus came calling on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Surrounded by her family and following a brief illness, Elaine answered His call and claimed the treasure waiting for her in heaven. Elaine is lovingly remembered by her children, Gerry (Dawn) Pylman of Grand Rapids, Scott (Kim) Pylman of Sallisaw, OK, and Candy Dykstra of Grandville. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Nick) Kolk, Emily (Kevin) Hedlund, Elyse (Michael) Jonker, Kylee Pylman (Justin Sloan), Colton Pylman; and her five great-grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by Gerald J. Pylman, her husband of nearly 74 years, on September 30, 2022; son-in-law, Jack Dykstra; and her parents and siblings. A private graveside service was held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of Faith Hospice Trillium Woods for their care and support over these last weeks. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints” (Psalm 116:15).
