Elaine Jousma

Elaine Jousma, age 100, of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; her parents, three brothers and four sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon McCarthy Tesch, Diane Davis, James and Adairnnie Jousma, Brian and Bonnie Jousma, Gary and Debbie Jousma, Jon and Marge Jousma.; 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Community of Christ Thornapple River Church, 8147 68th St. SE, Alto, with Rev. Don Jousma officiating.  Burial will be held at Alaska Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family 1 hour prior to the service at church.   In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Community of Christ Thornapple River Church.
