Edward “Eddie” Roy Weeks Jr.

Edward “Eddie” Roy Weeks Jr., age 46, was born on February 6, 1969 and went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2015 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Eddie was a graduate of Wyoming Park High School. His greatest love was his family. Eddie was an avid sports fan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Eddie is survived by his daughter, Fantasia and Jonathan Barnes; grandsons, Makon and Mekhi; mother, Lynn and her husband, Bob Gerrits; father, Edward and his wife, Lori Weeks; sisters, Jody McDaniel, Heidi and Chris Harrington, Shannon and Bob Leazier, Meagan and Jose Martinez, Shana and Kirk Britto, Rhonda and Rick Johnson; brothers, Jason and Meghan Byer, Andrew and Melissa Byer, Brad and Brittney Weeks, Rick and Tammie Gerrits; 33 nieces and nephews; 2 great nieces; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a very special couple that had a positive impact in Eddie’s life, Jim and Doris Keller. Eddie will be laid to rest among family and friends at Rosedale Memorial Park (0-50 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Tallmadge Township) on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 3:00 PM.
